Grapes of Distinction: Our meticulous selection process focuses on premium grapes from esteemed vineyards. This foundation ensures the complexity and depth of flavor in our final product.

The Art of Fermentation

The chosen grapes undergo a controlled fermentation process, similar to traditional winemaking. This allows the development of the full flavor profile and the unique characteristics of each varietal.

Gentle De-Alcoholization

After fermentation, we employ a state-of-the-art method to remove the alcohol. We primarily utilize two methods depending on the desired outcome:

Reverse Osmosis

Reverse Osmosis: This technique uses pressure to separate the alcohol from the wine through a specially designed membrane. It's a gentle process that preserves the delicate flavors and aromas.

Vacuum Distillation

Vacuum Distillation: This method utilizes low-pressure and low-temperature evaporation to remove the alcohol. The aromatic compounds are captured and then reintroduced to the dealcoholized wine, ensuring a complete sensory experience.

Blending and Refinement

Our skilled winemakers meticulously blend the dealcoholized wine with other components to achieve the desired taste profile

Aqua (Water)

The addition of high-purity water helps adjust the final volume and consistency of the non-alcoholic wine.

Dry Spices

The Smæccan touch! We incorporate a unique selection of dry spices to enhance the complexity and intrigue of the flavor profile. These spices are carefully chosen to complement the specific grape varietal and create a truly distinctive Smæccan experience.

Aging and Bottling

Depending on the desired style, some Smæccan wines may undergo a short aging period to further refine their character. Finally, the finished product is bottled and prepared for your enjoyment.
